Welcome to the Mira Costa High School Bands Website!
We’re proud of having one of best music programs in California, and we invite you to find out more about who we are and what we do. We encourage you to become involved in supporting music education in general and the Mira Costa bands in particular! The Mira Costa Bands include a Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. The program also supports our Percussion Studio, Color Guard, and Winter Guard.
After a fantastic Winter Concert, the students have already begun the hard work we have ahead of us before the March Concert. We are excited this year to be able to offer not one, but two after school Jazz Bands in addition to our Curricular day Jazz Band I, as well as both a Varsity and a JV Winterguard! We would like to thank the community along with a few very special people for their support after the recent loss of our sousaphones. Thank you all! We hope to see everyone out at our concerts, festivals and competitions this winter!
