Welcome to the Mira Costa High School Bands Website!
We’re proud of having one of best music programs in California, and we invite you to find out more about who we are and what we do. We encourage you to become involved in supporting music education in general and the Mira Costa bands in particular! The Mira Costa Bands include a Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. The program also supports our Percussion Studio, Color Guard, and Winter Guard.
What a fantastic set of musical performances we have had at our concerts and festivals! I have been immensely proud of our students achievements over the last couple of months and you should be too! Looking ahead our placement assessments are on the horizon and the music is posted here on the website. I also have an exciting announcement that next year we will be able to offer students in Wind Ensemble and Jazz I the opportunity to earn Honors credit through additional work in those courses! I am looking forward to a phenomenal finish to what has already been our best year yet! Hope to see you all at our concerts and performances!
